NCNW Affiliate Organizations

Mary McLeod Bethune envisioned NCNW as an “organization of organizations” united by a common vision of creating a just society and helping women of African descent realize their full potential.

NCNW’s national affiliates are among the most highly regarded national and/or global women’s leadership and service organizations in our nation and include professional, greek letter, faith-based, social, civic and education organizations that together with NCNW touch the lives of more than 3 million women each year.

National Affiliate organizations maintain a strong connection to NCNW through their Washington liaison, partnering on key national or community initiatives, as delegates to the National Convention and, of course, as individual members, Life and Legacy Life members.

A vital part of NCNW’s leadership, all national affiliate leaders are members of the NCNW Board of Directors.
