Economic and Entrepreneurial Development Center

NCNW is committed to erasing the race and gender wealth gap. Specifically, we seek to increase awareness about the importance of acquiring and growing assets within the Black community in general, and specifically among African American women.

NCNW works to provide Black women with the information and the tools that they need to improve their financial well-being and create a plan for generating, maintaining and growing intergenerational wealth.

Wi$eUp Webinars: The main money challenge in life is to make our money last as long as we do, or longer! And without giving up enjoyment along the way! That’s a tall order, but it’s not impossible to achieve. It all starts with awareness.

The Wi$eUp Webinars offer experienced and aspiring entrepreneurs the financial tools they need to start, manage and grow their business and nonprofit enterprises.  Business creation is the path to job creation and community economic stabilization.  The Wi$eUp curriculum materials cover savings, investment, insurance and other essential topics.

Every woman needs to understand the benefits and responsibilities of asset ownership, and how to transfer those assets to succeeding generations.  Learn what you need to know to plan your estate or administer the estate of a parent or other family member.  What you don’t know can hurt.   Generational wealth assures the future.
