The Tenth Annual Uncommon Height Gala is being held on Thursday, April 17th at the Hilton Washington Hotel, 1919 Connecticut Avenue NW in Washington, DC. This year, NCNW will celebrate the 96th birthday of Dr. Dorothy I. Height and the 50 years of leadership she has provided for the National Council of Negro Women.
The Uncommon Height Gala honoree is world-renowned actor and activist, Mr. Sidney Poitier.
